The last part of the Chimera arc comes to a close as Kantarou and Haruka battle Minamoto and Sakata. Haruka finally puts Kantarou's worries to rest as he announces his loyalty and friendship to Kantarou, but the fight ends in a draw after Minamoto kills Tsugumi and is then carried off by his ever loyal bodyguard, Watanabe. The bellows where weapons for the government were being made are destroyed, as is the tetsuzan hisho-that rules the villagers lives-hence setting them all free. In the end, Haruka reassures Kantarou that he'll eventually fill him in as to his mysterious past Master...
